Caption: This EPOXI mission image of comet 103P/Hartley 2 was taken 12 days after Encounter (E+12d) using the Medium Resolution Instrument (MRI) and a clear filter. Science Team member Dr. Dennis Wellnitz combined two 60sec exposures. The mid-exposure time was 2010/11/16 19:00:18 UTC. The comet was 1.09 AU from the Sun and 0.09 AU (12.9 million km) from the spacecraft.
