Caption: This EPOXI mission image of comet 103P/Hartley 2 was taken 7 days after Encounter (E+7d) using the Medium Resolution Instrument (MRI) and a clear filter. Science Team member Dr. Dennis Wellnitz used a single 20sec exposure. The mid-exposure time was 2010/11/11 17:19:16 UTC. The comet was 1.08 AU from the Sun and 0.05 AU (7.6 million km) from the spacecraft.
